Voting is a privilege and one that I feel honored to be a part of every single time an election rolls around. I get an overwhelming sensation of patriotism whenever I submit my ballot and receive the coveted “I Voted” sticker. Yes, the sticker is fun and always exciting to show off but voting is so much more than that. The fact that we, as a society, get to help determine who will lead us is a pretty amazing thing!
We all know this year has been a chaotic mess but I actually feel a strong sense of hope with all of the attention that has been on the importance of voting during this election. Regardless of your political preferences, it is so important for all of us to use our voices to choose our political leaders. The only way we can be properly represented is if every single person votes for who they feel will best govern in favor of the people of our country.
Personally, I feel that every single election is just as critical as the last which is why I love doing my part by not only voting, but spreading the word on the importance of voting. My favorite way to do so? Fun clothes and accessories, of course!
