It is inevitable – I get myself so excited about an upcoming trip and end up completely overthinking what I pack, at least when it comes to clothing. When the time came to pack up for a three day getaway to the beach, I wanted to focus on one thing: keeping it casual and comfortable. I knew this would be a very lowkey trip that involved either relaxing on the beach or chilling at our Airbnb. In a way, I was lucky to know that because of covid, we would not even consider going out in public for much of anything. This really helped narrow down my options and really hone in on the idea of dressing casually and comfortably.
I was very proud of myself for packing up early and then editing down by removing a few items the next day which is something I highly recommend when packing for any trip. I was pleased with my choices and loved the versatility of the items I packed.
Helpful Tip:
Stick to a neutral color palette to expand the possibility of creating multiple outfits with a small number of items.
